Children's Ministries

Director: Saralyn Duarte

Children are a primary focus for us at Hope.  We strive to make it a safe place you can trust, and have safety procedures in place.  Also, all teachers have had a thorough criminal background check.

We want to provide a fun and exciting place for our children to learn the truth of the Bible and how to live it out in their life.

Nursery care is available during the morning service at 10:30 am on Sundays.

Children's Church (Jesus' World)

We use a Good News Club format to present interactive and engaging Bible lessons, songs, games and missionary stories.  Children receive a well-rounded Biblical education that strengthens their faith in who God is and what He expects from us.

Children's Church is for ages Kindergarten through 5th grade and meets in our Youth Center building in the colorfully-painted "Jesus World" room.  You may call the church office, Monday through Friday from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm to sign your children up for this wonderful program.  Church Office (352) 686-6020

Puppet Shows

Adults and teens are invited to participate in the puppet ministry.  Performances are every Sunday morning in Ackerman Hall at 10:30 am for the children.  We have a puppet stage and various puppets, sound equipment and a variety of scripts.   The skits are humorous and help reinforce the lesson for Children's Church. We then go to "Jesus' World" as a group for the remainder of our Children's Church time.

Good News Club

This team, under the leadership of Child Evangelism Fellowship, reaches the boys and girls of our community at a local school each week with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  This is an evangelism and discipleship outreach.  This group also conducts a 5-Day Club in the summer at a local daycare.
