Jericho Road Food Distribution

First Tuesdays of each month, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm

This is another area in which Hope Community Bible Church has teamed up with Jericho Road Ministries as a distribution center, giving food to families in need.  During these uncertain times, many people find themselves needing a little extra help with food that may have never asked for help before – some regularly, some occasionally.  Our team are ready to help, listen, and pray with individuals whenever they are asked.

Good News Club

This team, under the leadership of Child Evangelism Fellowship, reaches the boys and girls of our community at a local school each week with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  This is an evangelism and discipleship outreach.  This group also conducts a 5-Day Club in the summer at a local daycare.

Operation Christmas Child – Samaritan's Purse Shoe Boxes

Each year our congregation puts together anywhere from 100 to 200+ shoe boxes full of toys, books, and hygiene items for children around the

world at Christmas.  These are put together in September and October for distribution by Samaritan's Purse.

Koutiala Women's Hospital in Mali, East Africa

Our ladies make Mama packs (layettes) for newborn babies born at the Koutiala Hospital.  In a land where resources and funds are scarce, this is a big help to these new mothers.

Quilts for Newborn At-Risk Babies in Spring Hill

Our sewing ladies also make hundreds of baby quilts eachyear for at-risk babies born at Spring Hill Regional Hospital. This is a loving and beautiful touch for these young mothers facing sometimes difficult circumstances.

Each month October through May, field trips, concerts, Bible Conferences, and luncheons are organized to encourage fellowship within the congregation.  This past year we have taken trips to Homosassa Springs, Holy Land Experience in Orlando,  Russell Stover Factory, USF Botanical Gardens in Tampa, a boat trip on the Pithlachascotee and out into the Gulf, and lunches and concerts at various locations.   This is open to all, so contact the church office at (352) 686-6020 for a list of upcoming events.

Visitation Ministry

Our Visitation Ministry is a group of people who meet weekly to visit shut-ins, spending time with them playing games, or talking with them.  These people look forward to these visits.  They encourage the shut-ins to share the Gospel in whatever setting they are in, providing literature for them to share with others.
